Roshan Horo

Storyteller. Social thinker. Builder of ideas.

Working at the intersection of Indigenous voice, media practice and academic thinking.

I am a social entrepreneur and communication practitioner exploring how culture and media can shape stories that live beyond a single moment.

I believe stories can change the direction of a society.

My work stands at the intersection of culture, identity, media and social justice. I am building my journey in public as a writer, thinker and filmmaker in the making.

I engage in

Social Work & Community Empowerment

I work on issues related to land rights, forest rights, social justice, and the dignity of marginalized communities. My focus is not only activism, but also long-term thinking about how communities can grow without losing their identity.

Media & Creative Work

I am deeply interested in media as a powerful tool — whether it is writing, visual storytelling, audio-visual work, or digital platforms. My goal is not just to create content, but to create meaning.

Writing & Storytelling

I write poetry, reflections, and long-form ideas about society, identity, human emotions, and the future. My writing moves between personal experiences and larger social questions.

Research & Learning

I am currently exploring new possibilities through research, storytelling, and technology. I believe the future will belong to people who can think deeply and express clearly — and I am working every day to become one of them.

Entrepreneurship

A community-driven enterprise empowering forest gatherers and farmers by ensuring fair trade, sustainable livelihoods, and cultural preservation through cooperative collaboration.

Why this website exists

This is not a finished portfolio. It is a space where I am documenting my journey — my work, my ideas and the projects I am building step by step.
